Release 2024.7
Member Experience Changes
Money Movement – ACH
• Built a new ACH Quick Search screen to allow a more efficient way to see and process Returns or Notices of Change on incoming files. This screen has many fixed search limitations to allow for quicker search and individual entry return/correction origination.
• Enhanced the ACH file approval process by allowing Users to approve, reject, or cancel the split files that were created due to multiple effective dates. Users will no longer have to approve, reject, or cancel the files individually.
• Outgoing ACH Files will automatically be pushed forward to the current day if a file was not processed from a previous day. This would affect Pending Approval and Hold status files. By moving the files to the current day, a file will not be “missed” due to actions not taken on the previous day.
• Pending Approval status files must be Approved, Rejected, or Canceled.
• Hold status files can be approved, but will stay in Hold status if the daily origination limit is exceeded. A temporary limit increase request will be required to increase the origination limit to allow the file to move to Approved status and queue to be sent. The file can also be canceled if it is no longer needed.
• Changed the ACH file approval process to allow a User to attempt to approve a file in HOLD status. The system will validate the daily origination limit and move the file to Approved status if the limit is not exceeded.
• Provided a pop-up display window informing users when an ACH File is approved but goes to Hold status due to exceeding the daily origination limit. The message informs users that a temporary limit request increase can be created to increase this limit. Once the limit is increased enough for this file, it will be moved to Approved status and queued to be sent.
• Added a new ACH Preferences area under User Profile to allow Users to set their preferred default Rows per page setting on many of the ACH grids. This allows users to customize how many rows of ACH file, entry, and template data they would like to initially see on each screen.
• Added the Date of Death and Corrected Data fields to the ACH Search results grid to provide more visibility to key information for Returns and Notices of Change entries.
Notifications – Email
• In February, it was announced that a new subscription had been added, General Alert and Notification, in preparation for the enhancement that is now part of this current release. Users can now opt to receive an email, in addition to accessing the alerts and notifications on the Beastro home screen.
• Service-specific alerts and notifications will now be delivered to the User’s inbox if their General Alerts and Notifications Emails is toggled to “Yes.” Alerts and notifications will still be present on the home screen of Beastro, regardless of email subscription status.
• These messages pertain to system downtimes, maintenance, or delays that could affect the User’s operations. Only Users with those service-specific permissions, who have opted into emails, will receive the communications. The exception being the credit union’s Authorized Signers. Authorized Signers cannot opt out of these communications, in accordance with the credit union’s signed Accounts Service Agreement.
More Informative Subject Lines for Beastro Emails
• All existing system-emails will also have enhanced subject lines that describe what the alert or notification is about. Previously, all notification emails contained the subject line, “Beastro has sent you a notification.”
• Going forward, the subject lines will give Users clarity about the message (i.e. New Domestic Outgoing Wire Needs Approval), to help Users prioritize messages in their inbox.
• Users may need to adjust their inbox rules if Beastro messages were being directed to inbox folders based on the previous subject line.
User Profile
• Expanded the User Profile feature by providing three tabs to improve navigation. Now, User Profile, Preferences, and Subscriptions are on own their tab in the User profile. This creates space required for future user preferences in the system.
Corporate Only
Corporate – Setup – Sales Tax Maintenance
• Added a Sales Tax Maintenance area to allow Users to create and maintain sales tax jurisdictions and tax areas.
Setup – Notifications
• Reworked the Notification setup area to include the ability to send service-specific emails to all or specific members. This includes a workflow that introduces notification statuses and the ability to send a draft email to another corporate user as a preview.
