Do I need to take action to ensure my ACH files are transmitted to/from my CORE to/from Beastro? Beatro support will be working with existing core processors for members to ensure they can upload and/or download ACH files to be ready for our go live date. A separate communication was sent asking for contact information for core processors and we have begun this process.
Are my ACH templates going to be in Beastro?
Yes, Beastro support will migrate your ACH templates to Beastro Money Movement on the weekend of go live. Your ACH templates will also be available for you to review and process in the Beastro Money Movement training environment.
Will our ACH data, both inbound and outbound, be available in Beastro? How much data?
Yes, Beastro Money Movement will be loaded with current ACH data form the past 6 months.
Will I use my biometric fingerprint reader to access ACH in Beastro?
No. Once converted to Beastro, ACH users will enjoy the improved, self-service authentication. User Administrators may need to prepare for additional users needing tokens. Users may also use a mobile device in lieu of a physical security token.
Will we have to log into another system or have any new credentials?
No, ACH/Money Movement will all fall under your current Beastro login and there will be no need to log into another platform or even see Single Sign On.
Will we be getting training on the new ACH process?
Yes, access to a training environment within Beastro Money Movement will be enabled for training purposes on April 15, 2024. During this phase, you and your teams will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the platform, explore its features, and participate in training webinars. All ACH templates and schedules as of April 12 will be available for your review and to run parallel test processing (not delivered to the ACH Operator) from the training environment. ACH receiver files will also be available for viewing but not available for download. We have also created several knowledgebase articles for your review leading up to the conversion.
Will there be access or time restrictions to log into Beastro?
No, you can log into Beastro anytime, as you do today.
Am I still able to search for and return transactions using specific criteria (such as trace number or dollar amount) in Beastro ACH?
Yes! From the ACH Search tab, utilize the top Search bar and/or the column headers to filter to the specific criteria, then click the Search button to display the results. Just remember - to resort or update the results, the Search button must be clicked again. Once the transaction has been identified, checking the box next to the transaction activates the Take Action button. Available actions, such as Return or Notification of Change, will show in white text.
Why do I need to include a “File Name” when starting an origination?
Beastro ACH provides the ability to create one-time ACH transactions without having to first build a template. In order to create a one-time transaction, a File Name must be created to identify the file in the list of outgoing ACH transactions.
What methods are available for my Business Users to log into Beastro Business?
When registering, a business user can utilize their mobile phone for authentication or use any brand FIDO physical key. It is the credit union's responsibility to procure FIDO Key(s) for their business users. A FIDO Key can be purchased from any retailer. An example FIDO Key would be the Basic Yubico Security Key from Amazon.com
