PACS 008 Customer Credit Transfer payments are meant to send funds directly between consumers, organizations, and financial institutions.
All optional steps are marked Optional at the beginning of the step.
Section 1 - Wire Detail
Navigate to Money Movement
Click the Faster Payments tab
Select Outgoing Faster Payment
Click Create New Payment
Enter the Bank Identification number for the Instructed Agent (typically a routing number)
If a Pre-Authorized Template will be used, select from dropdown
Select Business Function Code PACS 008
Select Type Code
Will auto-fill as FDNA - Fednow
Provide the Amount - amount the Originator/Debtor has instructed to be sent
Click Next Step
Section 2 - Debtor
Select Originator/Debtor type:
Organization
If provided, include Business Identification Code (BIC) - may use the BIC Search button to auto-fill information
Name - complete if BIC information is not utilized
If provided and/or required by the wire instructions, optional additional identification information may be provided by clicking the Add Identification checkbox
If provided and/or required by the wire instructions, optional address information may be provided by clicking the Add Address checkbox
Person
Name - complete

Ultimate party that owes an amount of money to the (ultimate) creditor
Click the blue dropdown arrow to select, and then provide information
Provide Name, Address, and additional Identification, as noted by wire instructions

Section 3 - Final Credit
Receiving ABA/Instructed Agent
Confirm this number is correct before proceeding. This will be the routing number for the FI receiving the payment.
Creditor Agent
If the same as Receiving ABA, select the Same as Instructed Agent radio button
If selected, information will auto-fill
Identification
If provided, include Bank Identification Code (BIC) - may use the BIC Search button to auto-fill information
Legal Entity Identification (optional) - may include if provided by payment instructions, legal entity identifier of the financial institution
If provided and/or required by the payment instructions, optional address information may be provided by clicking the Add Address checkbox
Creditor
Select Beneficiary/Creditor type:
Organization
If provided, include Business Identification Code (BIC) - may use the BIC Search button to auto-fill information
Name - complete if BIC information is not utilized

Information supplied to enable the matching/reconciliation of an entry with the items that the payment is intended to settle, such as commercial invoices in an accounts’ receivable system, in an unstructured form

Extensive information may be included by selecting the blue dropdown arrows and providing various information in the sections provided:
Remittance Information - Information supplied to enable the matching of an entry with the items that the transfer is intended to settle, such as commercial invoices in an accounts’ receivable system
Referred Document Information - provides the identification and the content of the referred document
Referred Document Amount - provides details on the amounts of the referred document
Creditor Reference Information - reference information provided by the creditor to allow the identification of the underlying documents
Invoicer - identification of the organization issuing the invoice, when it is different from the creditor or ultimate creditor
Invoicee - identification of the party to whom an invoice is issued, when it is different from the debtor or ultimate debtor
Tax Remittance - provides remittance information about a payment made for tax-related purposes
Garnishment Remittance - provides remittance information about a payment for garnishment-related purposes

URID - Uniform Resource Identifier - a compact string of characters that uniquely identify an abstract or physical resource; the super-set of identifiers, such as URLs, email addresses, ftp sites, etc, and as such, provide the syntax for all of the identification schemes

Section 6 - Review
Once all sections have been completed, the User will review all payment detail. If any errors are detected at this time, the User may update the information from this screen or go back and navigate through all screens to make the correction(s).
After wire entry has been reviewed, click Create.
A second User will need to verify the payment.
