The Beastro user security model uses roles to assign permissions sets. For user administration, categorize users by job function and security role and grant access based on roles. The user administrator can add or remove roles for a user though an Access Request.
When Permissions are defined, a Beastro system administrator is allowed to add that permission to a role. This includes the corporate credit union member roles as well, not just member roles. Roles are marked “For Corporate” and/or “For Member” based on the role function and security. Note that some roles will be both For Corporate and For Member.
Note: When defining For Member roles, the system administrator should take care to not combine permissions on multiple services into one role. This could lead to the role not activating for a Member unless the Member is subscribed to all services involved. For example, combining Corporate Cash permissions and Domestic Wire permissions into one For Member role.
In this example, The Accounts View Only Role has three Permission sets View Accounts, View Account Transactions and View Cash Letter Deposit Detail.
Assign User roles by navigating to Member Details, then select Contacts, as shown here. For each Contact assign the appropriate roles.
